Tutorial 69 – The basics of EasyLanguage two dimensional arrays

Welcome to tutorial 69 in this series of tutorials designed to help you learn to code in TradeStation EasyLanguage.

This simple tutorial demonstrates how to create a two dimensional array, using TradeStation EasyLaguage. I demonstrate how to store data in specific elements of the array and then how to run through simple For Begin …End loops to see the values in the array.

A video below explains the tutorial in more detail.

Tutorial 69 Video – Creating, using and displaying the values in a two dimensional array

The following is the program created in this tutorial:

Arrays: Tutorial69[2,9]( 0 );
Once
Begin
ClearPrintLog;
Tutorial69[1,5] = C;
Tutorial69[2,9] = T;
For Value1 = 1 to 2
Begin
For Value2 = 1 to 9
Begin
Print("MaxBarsBack ",MaxBarsBack," Tutorial69[ ",Value1," , ",Value2," ]",Tutorial69[Value1,Value2]);
End;
End;
End;
