I’m often asked questions, for example: ‘do you have anything about CCI or about stochastic’ or about some other issue. There’s a very good way of finding that out on the website.
If you go to the homepage, on the right hand side you’ll see the magnifying glass. So, for example, if we were interested in CCI you’d just type in CCI (not touching the return key or the enter key). And you’ll see now we’ve got a list of all the programs, tutorials, quick tips and ‘question and answers’ on the specific topic being searched for. You can then go click on any of the links to take you to the relevant page.
Now if we went further having typed in the search query, then if we press the enter key you will see is a little bit more detail on each of those resources. Note that the Question and Answer or ‘Q&A’ pages are only visible to Gold Pass members.
Differences between free tutorials, quick tips and the programs.
Free tutorials are, as the name implies, tutorials! In each tutorial I explain a technique in a video or by using images. The idea is that you follow along and if you wish you can make notes or type in the program and try it yourself.
The same generally applies to quick tips, but quick tips are just tutorials that are a lot shorter.
Programs are also to help demonstrate programming techniques but what they are are programs that I think may be a little bit more useful to you as someone who’s interested in Trading and the markets. The primary purpose is still to show some programming techniques within the program. But the web pages for the programs do not include a video specifically explaining how the programming was done.
In this quick-tip I’ve not described the additional materials available to Gold Pass members. You can look at the ‘join Gold Pass’ area to see more information about what is included in Gold Pass including the Q&A and other training materials.
