In TradeStation the time of a bar is the time that it ends. For example, if the local time is 17:30 and you are looking at a 60 minute GBPUSD chart with Time-Zone set to ‘local,’ then the bar time is 18:00. For data streams that span the midnight, 00:00 bar, TradeStation designates the date of the midnight bar as the date of the next day, hence using CloseD(1) to find the Close of the day will give incorrect results because takes the close of the bar previous to the 0000 bar. This quick tutorial describes a technique to get accurate close of day results.
